The challenge was to achieve minimalism and elegance with typography and composition, because we were limited with B&W print. We also choose a new type of woodless paper.
EKRAN Film Magazine
Re-design of Ekran, a monthly magazine for TV and film, that brings a general overview on contemporary film production (mainstream and independent) while also giving greater attention to Slovene film production. Ekran, Magazine for Film and Television was established in 1962 and is by far the most relevant Slovene film magazine of all time and also the one with the longest tradition. Throughout its history it has been a home for many generations of Slovene film critics as well as open towards foreign writers. Collaboration with graphic designer and illustrator Hana Jesih. We made a new logo, new layout and designed a collage-style cover, with an emphasis on specific film genre, theme or scene from a movie.
